Do you think if people can catch HIV/AIDS by their saliva

Do you think if people can catch HIV/AIDS by their saliva?
I am doing a report to see if people can catch AIDS from saliva. If you know something I would truly appreciated. I am just a little curious about it because, I know they say you can't get HIV/AIDS from kissing; I was just wondering if they met a peck on the mouth, or if you can get from touge kissing or sharing drinks...stuff like that? Anything that has to do with saliva.

hiv/aids is a blood disease. the only way to contract it is through intercourse or if the blood of a person who has hiv/aids gets inside an open cut or wound... so no. you can't contract it through kissing.

No, you can't. The only way you can catch HIV/AIDs is through the blood, semen, pre-ejaculation, vaginal fluid or breast milk.

I Hope not because i Have Done everything eles but SEX I Have kiss a 100 times lol but i hope u cant

Anything that can be tested for DNA can be contracted from another person who has AIDS. Bodily fluids contain the virus so be careful. Only if you have an open sore exposed to the person touching you with an open sore too.

i don't think so

you can only contract HIV/AIDS through blood, seminal or vaginal fluid, lymphatic fluid, or breast milk; not saliva.
9 :
yes it can, if the aids doesn't die when it hit oxygen, but it has to be put into like an open wound, straight to the blood, other than that, you cannot get it from kissing :]

no

Nope you definitely cannot catch HIV from saliva. Actually saliva inhibits HIV.

Honest truth, no one knows. The only way to prove it is so unethical that scientists refuse to do so, mostly to stay out of jail, not out of respect for ethics.

HIV is not transmitted by saliva. Kissing someone (on the mouth) who is infected is not a risk unless you both have bleeding gums or open cuts in your mouths. Even in that case, risk is very low.

This is a two part answer actually. First off you can not catch AIDS. You can only become infected with HIV which can eventually emerge into AIDS. Second of all the correct answer to your second question is Yes you can contract HIV through saliva HOWEVER, you would have to drink about 2 quarts of that persons saliva in order to become infected. Anytime there is blood involved (new piercing, open sores in and around the mouth, cuts on the gums or tongue) then transmission becomes possible.
