How can we educate people in Africa and around the world about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and how to prevent it

How can we educate people in Africa and around the world about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and how to prevent it?
AIDS has ravaged the third world, and left millions of people dead. The way to stop it lies not in cures and treatments, but in education. We must get the message across to the populations of developing countries that they can stop this deadly disease, but only by stopping it from infecting people in the first place.

Well you know the old saying don't you?? You can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink it. Same with people my dear.

Problem is that even IF you educate everyone, some people won't care or still think they are lucky. Some may even believe a cure is just a few years away. So either way they won't take precautions. Plus since you can transmit it with needle injects, blood transfusions, etc, you may still spread it even if you don't have sex. Only ways left to stop it: 1) develop a real cure or vaccine 2) permanent quarantine of those infected

The only way that I know of preventing people from engaging in risky behavior is through education and training....While Africa may be considered one of the 'hot spots' for new HIV cases, Southeast Asia also struggles with escalating numbers of new cases (i.e. China, Bangladesh, India, etc.)...all we as a people can do is offer support and new tools to inform people of ways to minimize exposure to the disease.

good points you make.

If 10% of the average $907 that Americans spent on Christmas gifts went to children in need, 42 million children could be helped for an entire year according to statistics provided to me during an interview with World Vision. This year, I conducted an experiment, and asked for donations to World Vision and Heifer.org instead of Christmas gifts. Many folks simply chose to give me gifts anyway, but many did make donations instead, resulting in $137 going to these charities. I also have a website where I sell art to support these two fine Christian organizations. The next time you need art for your walls, please consider my website. My personal favorite of my own work is Stir the Groove3. Recently I have had several new artists donate to this cause also If you know of artists who might wish to join this charity model, please send them my way. http://finerworks.com/gallery.asp?u_id=r... Drink a lot of water before you play and right after you play.
2 :
Carry a bottle of water always and count how many you are actually drinking so you know if you are getting enough. You should be resting when you body says to rest. Now that you have these 2 things, your bodies immune system in weaker and compromised. You can't push yourself like the average person. LISTEN to your BODY. Rest and stop and sleep when you body says too or you are going to get sick.
3 :
Well I don't know if this will help, but a lot of the time when I go jogging in the morning i drink gatorade it helps me from getting dehydrated it's not very good but it works for me.
4 :
Have you had your blood sugar checked recently? Excessive thirst can be a symptom of high or low blood sugar. It's seemingly unquenchable.

I recently got my bangs trimmed by someone who had a sore on their finger could I get hepatitis or HIV/AIDS

I recently got my bangs trimmed by someone who had a sore on their finger could I get hepatitis or HIV/AIDS?
I recently got my bangs trimmed by a man who had an un bandaged sore on his finger, he looked very untidy, and the sore wasn't bleeding or oozing from what I could tell. But I have dry scalp and tend to get sores on my scalp as a result, could this guy have given me hepatitis or HIV/AIDS?

wow. why did you let him cut your hair? Anyway, prolly not, and you should soak your scalp with neem oil about once a week, then wash out the oil with a gentle neem based shampoo.
2 :
No. You wont be the first to make history.
3 :
No worries! HIV can only be transferred through open wounds to the blood. You definitely do not have HIV. The sores on your scalp are just from having a dry scalp (I know. I have a bad problem with dry scalp also and have to use a special shampoo).
