What would happen if hiv/aids mutated and became transmittable through kissing, touching, etc?

What I think will happen is that the world would be quarantined and everyone would be scared and no one will probably be having sex and people will be walking around in bubbles instead of cars and people would stay inside their homes and one simple touch of one person can become chaos.

If HIV became transmittable through more casual contact you can bet the American government would get more involved in controlling the spread of the disease. The government would have to...AIDS is expensive to treat and certainly an outbreak of that magnitude would be devastating to the country.
