I get really paranoid with the idea of ever meeting someone with it and engaging in sexual acts. I need to know what are some evident signs in a person. Physically what they look like.

Unfortunately, there are none. Stay paranoid about safe sex, though. That's really your best defense.

Weight loss, and rapidly. Capozi's sarcoma which are dark aras under the skin usually seen first on the face and the forearms. Inability to fight off or frequent obreaks of infections or viruses. See a doctor or go to a clinic to ask for a free HIV test , it is totally confidential.

there really are none unless the disease is progressing. You can carry the HIV virus but not be infected by it. Use a condom no matter what!!!!

If in check they will look like anyone else. The physical manifestations of the disease take a while, depending on the strength of the immune system it could be quite a while before the virus is able to overcome the immune system and cause the symptoms associated with the virus. They will be contagous during this time however. Since HIV effects the immune system you would see manifestiation of common contagous elements. The initial infection would usualy present itself with a feever and flu like symptoms. Left unchecked you would likely see bacterial infections, thrush, kaposi's sarcoma, chanchor sores, dermatitus, TB, herpies, and waisting. The look test is not going to help you untill they progress pretty far. If you have any reason to be concerned use protection and know your partner well.
