First Question & Third Question: STD's or STI's are transmitted through unprotected sex; Vaginal, oral and anal. HIV: HIV can be transmitted when there is a sufficient amount of the virus in a persons body fluid (such as blood, sperm, or vaginal fluid) and enters another persons body through a tear or break. When the blood containing HIV comes into direct contact with a persons blood stream, they're risk for HIV transmission has increased. NOTE: Breast milk can also transmit HIV If the mother's viral load (The amount of the virus in the body) hasn't been decreased significantly. AIDS: Occurs when a persons immune system is severely weakened and has another AIDS defining illnesses, like extreme cases of pneumonia. You cant catch AIDS. Second Question: If you have sex with someone unprotected, that has an STI, there is a CHANCE you may or may not contract it; This is why they say its "Risky" Hope this helps.

I think Vita covered a lot of it, but I would like to add something. You can also use protection and still catch an std or sti including HIV/AIDS. Though this is very unlikely it is still possible. It is also a high possibility to catch Herpes or Genital Warts with or w/o protection.

HIV and AIDS affect on on people are what

HIV and AIDS affect on on people are what?
Between 5.5 and 6 million people in South Asia are estimated to be living with HIV/AIDS. What are the social, economic and spatial factors most likely to put people in the region at risk of HIV infection? What are some strategies that governments and NGOs in the region can employ to educate people, to improve and accelerate their responses to HIV/AIDS, and in general, to lessen the region̢۪s vulnerability to the epidemic?

I think to combat AIDS will be multi organization task. It is not as simple as governmental role to legislate drugs law, monogamy etc. Issue should be rooted in our personal care and role. As a unit, we should also contribute to prevent drugs user - esp in SEA, multi sexual partners - this is even difficult as the choice is on personal ground, avoiding sexually transmitted blood products etc.
2 :
How about giving the estimated 5 million people propper nutritious food to eat, how about providing adequate and affordable health care to these people. How about providing proper housing and sanitary conditions. How about providing clean drinking water to drink....what does the WHO and UN-AIDS want to give them? Condoms and HIV Medications....
3 :
The effect on people "diagnosed" with HIV/AIDS depends on their understanding and gullibility level. If they accept the spurious diagnosis techniques used in Africa, and they accept the unproven hypothesis that HIV is the cause of ANYTHING - then chances are they are going to kill themselves by ingesting the toxic drugs prescribed by local healthcare, in the service of big pharma abroad. The strategy that local governments and NGOs can employ to combat the so-called "epidemic" is to stop blaming the fictional "boogie-man" of HIV and start addressing the real health problems of the region, namely nutrition and hygiene.
4 :
Start in the schools with teens and show them what AIDS does.Have speakers.Kids are just not taught how you pay when you get it.I'm 6 years and my whole life has changed

Yes, if the person with aids know that they are infected and pass it to someone else by having unprotected sex, that's basically murder.
2 :
Yes, it is a crime to have sex with someone if you know you have HIV and do not tell the other person about your infection. The person can be arrested and charges can be filed. The exact charges would vary depending on the state where the crime takes place. Charges could include anything from reckless endangerment to attempted murder. In some cases, it may not matter if the second person does not actually contract HIV. The fact that they were at risk is often enough to file charges.
3 :
It is true that in most states there is a law against having sex with someone without disclosing your HIV infection. In my state, Louisiana, it is called Intentional Exposure. It caries a ten year sentence. It isn't a charge that is used often though. It can be difficult for the victim to come forward and give up their own confidentiality to press charges. It is also very hard to prove because of the confidentiality surrounding the release of HIV test results.
4 :
Yes. It's lawless. if you can also file charges online. just need an account at the std social site pozcupid . com .
5 :
It depends. Each state has different laws, in some states it is considered attempted murder. I live in NY State and it is the belief here that if you are having sex you should have the ability to ask your partner their status and if you are concerned at all it is up to you to insist on protection. So depending where you live it is important to check the laws of your state.
