The dreaded disease - HIV/AIDS is claiming millions of live wordwide and no medical treatment/cure has so far been established. Creating awarenes on how best to avoid/reduce the spread is very key as most poeple are ignorance on how best to handle the situation. Yahoo is one of the best (if not the best) e-mail service provider in the world. I pesonally suggest that a colum be created on their home page that will alert/educate users / the world at large on how to minimize the spread of this dreaded disease. All hands must be on deck to bring this stuborn sickness to naught.

there is an answer inside ur question .... there nothin a common man can do to eradicate the problem of aids at individual level but yes small steps towards eradication of aids can atleast motivate others to think abt the seriousness of the sub ............. it is the duty of each individual to atleast present ur views to others be open n frank to talk with ur parents, frnds, teacher...... rather than considering a taboo topic to be talked abt........... we know that we all have to be together to fight frm this evil 2ly we shd not consider hiv positive as neglected part of the society coz it can happen to anyone in the society......

There is an established treatment called HARRT. It is a cocktail of drugs that contain a slew of anti retro viral medicine and inhibitors. This drug works great in lowering the viral load of HIV and raises the CD4 TCells that HIV attack and kill. However, the treatment cannot rid you of the virus, you will still need to take treatment and suffer the nasty side effects of the drugs.
